Aporta operational alerts by text message

Aporta Systems sends automated text messages from +1 (855) 505-5009 to its own staff only. We do not send text messages to customers or to anyone else.

What the messages are

Our monitoring service sends an alert when an automated check finds that part of our browser extension has stopped working on a website we support, and a follow-up message when it recovers. The messages are operational alerts. They contain no marketing and no customer data.

Who receives them, and how consent is given

The only recipients are Aporta Systems employees who have agreed to receive on-call alerts. Each recipient enters their own mobile number into Aporta's internal alerting configuration, and doing so is their consent to receive these messages. There is no public sign-up, and no number is added by anyone other than its owner.

Frequency and cost

Messages are sent only when a monitoring check needs attention, so message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELPfor help. You can also write to[email protected].

Your number

A recipient's mobile number is used only to send these alerts. It is not shared with third parties for their own purposes, and it is not used for marketing. Our text messages are sent through our messaging provider, Twilio. How we handle personal data is set out in ourprivacy policy.
